“Bliss Books” by Ivan Antic

So there I was chugging along, minding my own business, just intending to study Pantanjali’s Yoga Sutras when it occurred to me to reparaphrase it using updated terminology that relates to quantum computing. Then it occurred to me to search around and see if there were any clues to be found and I found the above “Bliss Books” (1 through 9) series by Ivan Antic. What a find! I was a bit stunned as I found in these books elements of many ideas that I have been exploring over the past 12 years and especially as relating to my ongoing Pantanjali project.. which I have to put on hold while I digest this new material. From the very first book, which is the bottom one, “Samadhi”, monk Ivan brings in the theme of the quantum field as related to the Yoga Sutras. It’s almost like my subconscious read all his books then started off on this project bringing in all the quantum jargon, and THEN after my head was spinning at the immensity of the obvious parallels in quantum physics I was excitedly relating to Pantanjali’s masterpiece, finding and reading about in brilliant exposition everything I just discovered in my own mind (and MORE)… kind of spooky … but I reckon it’s only to be expected. Kudos to you Mr. Ivan Antic, your books are true gems of enlightenment.

Ivan has in these books discussions about our torroidal structure that made me very happy. I became an “activated” torus around 12 years ago (which I never could explain to anyone, nor had ever read anything about, it just happened as a result of me consciously breathing all the darn time) but I never once thought to locate the black hole at the level where the Zen masters hold their cupped hands at the belly, very interesting indeed.

Also BTW I recently gave my opinion to a certain tulku on FB over the way they keep calling Buddhism “NON-theistic”, ( I told him every time I hear you lamas say that it makes me cringe) and along the same logic that Ivan also brought up… Buddha didn’t say there was a God nor that there wasn’t a God.. for crying out loud can’t you guys take a cue from what happened at Nalanda and lay off the “there’s no God” dogma..how about just pretending to be “agnostic” instead (quit trying to “play God” ROTFMAO) as going round telling Christians and Muslims (especially Christians and Muslims) that Buddhism is “atheistic” paints you guys as just as much religious fanatics as the jihadists! Let the people have their God for God’s sake… it’s called “skillful means” SMH…LOL

So I’m reading one paragraph. And I think, wow, that’s also like Don Juan’s Tonal and Nagual. Then I turn the page.. and I read, “…and also just like Carlos Casteneda’s Tonal and Nagual”… STOP ALREADY! LOL …. and there was that soul sound again mixed in with the Twilight Zone music. He even writes about the Ill-human-naughties as I call them lately.. a well rounded modern author.
